Profile Summary:
Dr. Harish K. Ahuja is an entrepreneur, climate finance strategist, and capital markets leader with over 27 years of experience across public policy, infrastructure, renewable energy, entrepreneurship, and financial markets. As Co-founder of IndiaGoSolar, he built and bootstrapped India’s pioneering solar and EV e-commerce and finance platform to profitability, creating a digital ecosystem connecting over 1,000 manufacturers, EPC companies, financiers, and customers. Today, he is Co-founder of NOA Sustainability Lab and NOA Capital Multi Family Office, Dubai, where he is building a global climate innovation and investment platform that enables climate-tech companies to access strategic partners, institutional capital, and public markets.
Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Dr. Ahuja served for 15 years as a civil servant, including as Joint Secretary (Power), contributing to India’s electricity-market reforms, regulatory frameworks, and infrastructure financing. He later worked with Hindustan Power Projects, a Blackstone-backed renewable IPP, before joining the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), where he was Executive Vice President ,Sustainability, Power & Carbon Markets, Electricity Derivatives, IPO Listings, and the Social Stock Exchange, and played a key role in the successful launch of electricity futures in India. During his tenure at NSE as Head ( listings) from Jan 2023-sept 2026 more than 550 IPOs was undertaken including 40+ IPOs of climate tech / infrastructure companies at NSE.
Dr. Ahuja holds a Ph.D. in Electricity Markets, an M.Tech from IIT Delhi, an Executive MBA (Applied Finance) from IIM Kolkata, where he graduated as the batch topper, and an MBA in Global Energy Management jointly from NTU Singapore and BI Norwegian Business School (Oslo). He is the author of Reforming Power Sector Reforms and is widely recognised for building market-driven platforms that align innovation, capital, and sustainability to create long-term economic value.
